Ontario has announced that Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) selection will be carried through the human capital priorities stream. Human Capital Priorities is a program which is designed to target skilled workers in the Canadian Express Entry applicants.
The draw is meant to select participating candidates who want to work in Ontario with technical experience in different job categories.
These participants include
Software Engineer and Designer NOC 2173,
Computer Programmer and Interactive Media Developer NOC 2174,
Computer Engineer NOC 2147, Web Designer and Developer NOC 2175,
Database analysts and data administrators NOC 2172 and
Computer and information systems managers NOC 0213.
The selected candidates will be communicated to through their Express Entry profile accounts and will receive a notification of interest to prepare and apply. They should submit a complete application to the province of Ontario within 45 days. Once the OINP application has been approved, the applicant will receive a provincial nomination from Ontario. It will result in a 600-point increase in the comprehensive ranking system (CRS). It means they will be above the minimum level at which they can receive invitations to make an application.
