The survey indicated that the number of people who were employed in Quebec rose by 26,000 in the same month and this was attributed to full-time work. Moreover, it indicated that by the end of November, the province had a staggering four million employed individuals. The unemployed rate in the province stood at 5.4%, which was below the national average of 5.6%.
The agency stated that the province enjoys a wide range professional such as scientists, technicians, as well as in teaching profession, which is one of the fast-growing areas.
When we look at Alberta, by November, the number of employed fraternity rose by 24,000 thanks to full-time work. This was slightly high than Ontario that registered a 20,000 rise of employed people in the same month.
Another crucial province was British Columbia that had an increase of 16,000 of employed people in the month of November. This number stood at 4.4% higher than the previous month’s number. In fact, this was the lowest percentage recorded in Canada in terms of average.
Other provinces such as Manitoba and Saskatchewan also recorded an increase in employment rates in the same month with 2,600 and 5,500 respectively. This is quite a great stride taking into account these provinces population.
The study also indicated industries in Canada, benefited most from the workforce recruitment and contributed quite a good percentage to the aforementioned employment rate.
