The province disbursed invitations for both sub-categories via the province’s EOI system that seeks international skilled workers. EOI system was introduced back in July and it is used to manage a pool of candidates in the two sub-categories.
This invitation was a record high for Occupation In-Demand sub-category, which bagged 671 candidates from the total number and all the candidates had to have a score of over 61.
According to the province reports, this draw issued the highest number of invitations to In-Demand Occupation, but it had the lowest score of all the other draws conducted from the genesis of the program back in July.
The remainder of the total—255 candidates, settled for the Express Entry. In this category, the candidate had to get a minimum score of 60. This marks the lowest score for all the four draws conducted since July.
Express Entry in conjunction with Federal Express Entry System manages a pool of the following candidates’ categories:
- Canadian Experience Class
- Federal Skilled Trade Class
- Federal Skilled Workers
If you want to assess yourself to see if you meet the conditions for this sub-category, you must gauge yourself on point assessment grid, and you should score at least 60 points. Additionally, Saskatchewan holds nominations at the provincial level, those who are lucky enough get 600 points, which counts during the rating score.
