Let’s take a look at the various points of entry:
- Express Entry British Columbia
All applicants under the Express Entry British Columbia stream receive a beneficial priority for processing under both provincial and federal levels. The applicants must be eligible for any of the three federal economic programs, namely: Canadian Experience Class, Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class.
- Express Entry – Skilled Worker
All international skilled workers with a post secondary education, or a relevant training and employment experience can apply under this category. It is aligned to the express entry system.
- Express entry – International Graduate
All international students who have successfully graduated from any of the Canadian Universities or college, within the past 2 years, are eligible to apply under this stream.
- Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker
All workers with a post secondary school education or relevant employment experience can apply under this stream.
- Skills Immigration – International Graduate
All international students who have successfully graduated from any of the Canadian Universities or college, within 2 years of application to the Provincial Nominee Program are eligible under this stream. Prior work experience is not mandatory but a valid job offer from a British Columbian employer must be presented.
- Skills Immigration – International Level and Semi-Skilled
If you are not eligible under any other stream, this is the entry point for you. Under this stream, semi-skilled international workers can work for the tourism or hospitality industry, food processing industries or long haul trucking.
- Entrepreneur Immigration
All experienced and skilled individuals in business, who have the capacity to establish their business in British Columbia, invest in and operate a profitable business that enhances the province’s economy, can apply under this stream.
