British Columbia has always been a popular place amongst citizens looking to migrate for better work-life opportunities. The province is extending an offer to graduates, workers and entrepreneurs to make British Columbia a place to live and settle in. There are numerous entry systems under the Provincial Nominee Program and around 450 invitations were extended under the Entrepreneur Immigration stream on 17 February, the last draw. A whooping 440 more invites were extended under other categories such as the Express Entry and Skills Immigration streams (under Skills Immigration Registration System).
The Skills Immigration Registration System is a point based system allowing the province to select applicants, applying under various categories. These applicants who were issued and application of interest are now eligible to apply to the Provincial Nominee Program under the enhanced sib categories. The remaining applicants have the option to apply outside the Express Entry at the numerous Federal levels.
