However, to be able to be considered under Manitoba’s Express Entry Sub-stream, one need to register an Expression of Interest with the MPNP.
Skilled workers overseas are also invited under the program.
In addition, 217 LAAs to other kind of skilled workers overseas candidates were also issued by the MPNP. The EOI score for this particular group was 572.
These particular candidates had to possess the following requisites:
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in any occupation as per Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list;
- A close relative who is residing in Manitoba;
- Past education in Manitoba or working experience in the area;
- Language proficiency of CLB./NCLC 5 unless the candidate’s work experience is in a regulated occupation.
In addition, 32 LAAs were also issued in Manitoba to skilled overseas candidates who enjoyed a score of 639 under MPNP’s Strategic Recruitment program.

Recruitment project: These so-called overseas immigration or employment fairs includes representatives of MPNP taking interviews of foreign skilled workers and then giving them an invitation for applying after making a formal Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP.
Exploratory Visits: People who have already undertaken the exploratory visits and have also passed an interview with the MPNP official are invited.
