Are you planning on moving to Canada? With the 4,200 invitations for permanent residence in Canada issued by the Canadian government to Express Entry applicants, you can apply for work and get free medical services in Canada.

In the Express Entry draw held on 2nd September, candidates of the Federal Skilled Worker Program were among the successful applicants. This is the 162nd overall draw hosted by IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) and the 3rd comprehensive program draw hosted since 18th March.

The least CRC (Comprehensive Ranking System) score was 475, a one-point drop compared to the 5th August draw.

Apart from the 4,500 invitations issued on 19th February for permanent residence, the 4.200 invitations are the highest figure given in the Express Entry draw. This invitation issued on 2nd September strongly indicates that Canada is focused on welcoming more immigrants in the future.

Although IRCC has been offering 3,900 invitations for permanent residence applicants (ITAs) after each fortnight, it has been shifting from program-specific to all-program rounds. In the recent draw, it has issued an additional 300 invitations to immigration folks.

Express Entry is an application unit that oversees Canada’s candidates in three significant tiers of immigration. These classes include FSTC (Federal Skilled Trades Class), FSWP (Federal Skilled Worker Program), and CEC (Canadian Experience Class).

A pre-determined figure of top contenders is welcomed to apply for permanent residence in Canada through routine draws. These rounds of invitation occur after every fourteen days, and a considerable majority involves aspirants from the three Express entry categories.

The 2nd September round is 2020’s 29th draw and yields 69,950 ITAs offered this year. A new record!

IRCC implemented its tie-break norm in this latest draw. The used timestamp was 2nd September 2020, at 2:17:32 pm. Thus, all contenders with a 475 CRS score and above, who created profiles within the Express Entry round before the set time and data, acquired an ITA.
