So, How Does Arrima Work?
When a candidate is interested in Quebec immigration, they must apply through the Regular Skilled Worker Program. They then use the online Arrima portal, which delivers their expression of interest to MIFI. Anyone who is eighteen years and over is fit to create an expression of interest profile in Arrima free of charge. The portal services are available and unlimited throughout the year, making it possible for applicants to submit their profiles whenever they are ready.
Getting Started
Applicants should first create an Arrima account and update their profile, which should be completed within ninety days. After creating an expression of interest, it stays viable for one-year, and applicants should use this time to update their profiles. If the application is successful, the applicant receives an invitation to apply for the CSQ. They are then required to satisfy a pre-set cut-off score, based on a point a points grid.
Candidates who are issued with invitations have 90 days to apply for the CSQ. The Mon Project Quebec application system is responsible for processing the applications, and MIFI then assesses them. The ministry then issues a comprehensive list of the applicant’s required documents. Once MIFI receives all the required documents, then the review process can begin. For some applicants, interviews might be necessary, especially to verify some critical information they have provided in their application.
