The newly elected Quebec’s government assured the residents that it will temporarily get rid of immigration to Quebec Province with around 10,000 people, from the normal immigrants of around 50,000 per year to 40,000. However, calls to raise the immigration from Quebec Federation of Chambers of Commerce have been raised and is yet to be proven if this will go through.
