Even though job offer was not the primary prerequisite for the nomination, but the highest number of the candidate who received an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence was in align with the job.
Apart from plugging the hole of both skilled and unskilled labor market, international students were ranked as the second group from all nominated immigrants to live in Ontario. To achieve the success of offering permanent residency, the nomination made an extra stretch to provide approximately 1900 Ontario employers in various industries. In effect, thirty-five percent of the candidate who were nominated had a job offer in the province. Also, 96% of candidates considered had a college certificate or degree, and over fifty percent had high scores in Canadian Language Benchmark.
The Ontario province preferred bilingual candidates, at least 6.1 of the nominee were eloquent in the French language. They were selected under Human Capital Priority Stream and French-Speaking Skilled worker.
At the beginning of 2019, the federal government offered Ontario province with 6,650 provisional nominees, however by November, the province had already me the target as the result government improvised its policies and added 700 opportunities. In 2019, Ontario province recorded total number 13731 new immigrants, these included unskilled workers, skilled workers, and their sponsors.
As by now, the federal government has not issued Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program with the total number of the provincial nomination candidate for the year 2020.
