The total number of invites issued by the province in 2019 is 732. The Express Entry candidates can now apply for permanent residence in Canada.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued these invites to candidates who submitted their Express Entry profile in the period between March 21, 2018, and March 21, 2019.
Three of the main economic immigration categories in Canada are managed by the Federal Express Entry system. These categories are; Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Class, and the Federal Skilled Trades Class.
With the Skilled Trades Stream, the province of Ontario can find immigrants with skills that may help the economy. It also gives opportunities to Canadian Experience Class candidates who are currently living in Ontario. Successful candidates must have at least one year of experience working full time. They may also have the equivalent experience working part-time. ONP does not require the candidates to have any job offers. They must, however, meet the federal and provincial requirements.
