The total number of ITAs issued this year will reach a staggering 52,600. This number has increased by 250 as compared to the ITAs issued in 10 all-programs of these draws held between January 30, 2019, to June 26, 2019.

IRCC believes with the current trend they might be able to break their last year’s record where they had recorded 89,800 invitations. Importantly, IRCC has stated that it will be hosting draws at intervals of every two weeks to increase the number of Express Entries candidates who will be issued with invitations.

Early this year, Canada expressed its interest to expand their admission target between the year 2019 and 2020. This is why it is of the paramount essence that they recruit more individuals via express entry-managed programs and other Provincial Nominee Programs.

Besides, those who did not meet today’s minimum score, are encouraged to consider the provincial option, which is relatively easier. In the recent past, most of the Canadian provinces have received a large number of immigrants through the Express Entry system. Those issued with admission in the provincial nominations, get an extra of 600 CRS, which help them to move to the front of the ITA line.

Among those provinces that are currently accepting immigrants include Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Alberta just to mention a few. According to Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream, the province has recently issued invitations to 1,773 candidates who have work experience with a CRS score as low as 435. On the Saskatchewan part, 104 invitations were made on the 19 in-demand occupations while Alberta selected its candidates with a CRS score as low as 300 and issued 202 invitations for permanent residency.

Overall, some examples of individuals who received invitations included Annan who is aged 31 years, holds a master’s degree, and works as a management consultant with an experience of three years. Furthermore, Adel and Sara, a couple aged 36 and 31 respectively and both work as accountants with a bachelor degree were also issued with the invitations for permanent residency.
