British Columbia’s Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) conducted a modest draw on April 23, extending invitations to just over 86 candidates from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams, including Express Entry BC applicants. Candidates were selected through five separate draws tailored to specific occupations. Among these, the largest draw welcomed 45 individuals in tech-related fields, requiring a minimum score of 120 points.

Additionally, the province reached out to 19 applicants in healthcare occupations, scoring a minimum of 95. Moreover, 11 candidates each from childcare and construction occupations were invited, with minimum scores of 92 and 95, respectively.

Lastly, a select few, fewer than five, candidates in veterinary occupations, boasting a score of at least 85, also received invitations. British Columbia’s BC PNP draws showcased its commitment to attracting talent across various vital sectors.

Manitoba

Manitoba had its moment in the spotlight on April 24, extending invitations to 327 candidates in its latest Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) draws. The invites covered three streams:

203 candidates from the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream with a minimum score requirement of 811, 66 International Education stream candidates with no specified minimum score, and 58 Skilled Worker Overseas pathway candidates needing a minimum score of 644.

Manitoba’s MPNP draws showcased a diverse pool of skilled individuals aiming for permanent residency in Canada.
