How do you know if you are eligible?

Eligible employers in the meat processing industry
Employers who need workers in the meat processing sector will get a 2-year Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). To qualify for the Pilot, they must illustrate their plans to help their employees to obtain permanent residence. The IRCC said that if they are members of unions, they will need to get letters of support. Those who are not unionized must meet special requirements to make sure that skilled migrant workers and the labor market is safe.
Through the Agri-Food Immigration Pilot, seasonal agri-food workers can obtain permanent Canadian residence. This will greatly benefit the agricultural industry since the problem of inadequate employees will be reduced.
