Ontario immigration reached its 2019 federal government nomination allocation by 11, 12 2019, and immediately gained an increment from Refugees, immigration, and Citizenship of Canada.
Canada’s most populated province had an opening allocation of 6,650 nominations for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), which it reached as of early December 2019.
The region allocated an additional of 700 nominations and 667 invitations for the Express Entry pool. The process brings the total sum of 2019 nominations to 7,350.
The program is a continuous process. The current allocation of 7, 350, is below the expectation of OINP. Processing application and issuance of nominations are until the fulfillment of extended allocation.

In the Meantime, Ontario proceeds with the process of applications through its In-Demand Skills Stream toward specific separate allocation granted by the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and National Occupational Classification (NOC) initiative. The IRCC uses NOC in evaluating your work experience.
If your potential Candidate issued a provincial nomination, you can proceed and apply to the central government for the permanent residency.
After receiving an NOIs and successfully applied for the provincial nomination, you have a surety of consideration under the OINP’s 2020
Interestingly if you have a profile in the Express Entry Candidates, you further receive 600 points for your profile, ultimately providing an invitation to apply for the next draw.
