Besides, those outlined moves by the local and federal governments, there are other effective efforts which can be implemented to obtain similar objectives. The efforts include;
- Creating an Ontario Regional Immigration strategy
- Refining Ontario Immigration Nominee Program
- Finding and tying together economic aspects from global talents the Canada employers
- Doing public relation activities to showcase other communities in Ontario province
In another perspective, bodies directly linked to the process of receiving new immigrants and settling them need to develop a coherent universal strategy to avoid unequal distribution. With a strategic plan, the already experienced impacts in distributing newcomers will be mitigated amicably in bother short and long-term.
With the currently implemented programs, Ontario should look into giving more points to nominees with an interest to settle in other areas other than GTA. However, the immigrants need not be forced into those areas without proper job match and the actual hiring process completed. Thus, such a strategy will encourage more global talent.
Due to limited information about other parts of Canada, linking with international nominating agents and ask them to market other habitable regions of Canada. Besides, the other communities will need up their level of communication with immigrants attract them to their regions.
