Ontario is buzzing with activity. Since March end five rounds of invitation have taken place for skilled trades as well as skilled French speaking workers.
Ontario has given out invitations for 95 candidates with Express entry applications. They have been called to seek Provincial nomination. The candidates can apply through streams such as Skilled Trades and skilled French speaking workers.
May 2 and 3 saw hectic activity. Ontario held the fifth round of invitation on these days since March end, in each stream.
According to OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) 59 candidates invited to this round through skilled trades had submitted their profiles between January 1 and May 2 this year.
36 candidates were invited through the other stream- skilled French speaking workers. These candidates submitted their profiles for express entry between January 1 and May 3 this year. Either streams do not require a minimum CRS score.
Now Ontario has issued 604 NOIs since the beginning of 2018 through the course of skilled trades and 420 through its other stream- skilled French speaking workers.
There is one more stream through which Ontario has issued NOIs since the beginning of this year- the Human Capital Priorities stream. The number of NOIs has come up to 2587.
Ontario has confirmed it will keep issuing NOIs to the Express Entry Pool Federal candidates who meet the criteria for any stream of express entry on the basis of regularity.
