Saskatchewan has invited over 1000 Express Entry Candidates in the last year alone. The candidates needed to have certain work experience and were told to apply as soon as possible for permanent Canadian residence. A nomination is needed to get this type of permit.
Why Choose Saskatchewan?
Saskatchewan is a province in the Western part of Canada and is well-known for the ever-growing economy. There re many very important natural resources and agricultural industries in the area. The latest data that was collected in 2016 showed that 4% of all new arrivals in Canada choose Saskatchewan as their base. The area offers a great immigration program.
Out of all the invitations sent out, 986 ended up going to people in the Federal Express Entry System. The people who were invited all registered separately with the SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee System). The SINP program allows the area to nominate candidates who have the skills needed in order to make the labor market efficient.
The SINP introduced the EOI (Expression of Interest), which is used to manage the many candidates for the Occupation-in-Demand and Express Entry pathways. All 986 invitations sent out were issued by this system in o single draw.
The SINP’s Express Entry is connected to the federal Express Entry System. The federal Express Entry System manages all the candidates in certain categories. These are the categories they manage:
- The Federal Skilled Worker Class
- The Canadian Experience Class
- The Federal Skilled Trades Class
