Business Impact candidates who had a minimum score of 112 on the point’s system program were awarded ten invitations in this category, which was under the Work Permit Stream.
The Labor Impact, Business Impact, and Express Entry categories are open to all those who want to be considered in these three categories. For them to be considered, the interested candidates are supposed to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). All the candidates that are eligible in the three categories are put in a pool. In this pool, the qualified candidate in each of the three groups is assigned a score. The scores are based on the answers that each candidate had provided earlier in their Expression of Interest.
An Expression of Interest is a means of notification to the PEI PNP that there is a candidate who would like to be considered for the provincial nominations. The EOI should not be regarded as an application.
In each pool from the Labor Impact, Business Impact and Express Entry categories, candidates that are highly ranked are invited for applications through the draws that take place monthly.
There were 15 extra invitations on the August 15 Express draw, more than the previously held draw that had happened on July 18. The 18th July draw had a total of 118 invitations sent out to all the interested applicants.
A maximum of 17 invitations with a minimum score of 112 was sent out on the July 18 draw. This invitation has been consistent since the June 20 draw.
