The province of Nova Scotia is facing a doctors shortage, and they are looking for doctors from other parts of the world.
The new Nominee Program of Nova Scotia are offering opportunities for interested physicians. The opportunities will be available for eligible general practitioners, specialist physicians, and family physicians that have a profile in Canada Entry system of the Express federal. They will have a chance to migrate to the province of Nova Scotia and work with the team of physicians in the region.
However, interested candidates will have to meet some requirements set so that to get a chance of immigrating to the province. Some of the requirements are: interested candidates will need to have an approved job offer from the Nova Scotia Health Authority in the region or alternatively they will need a job offer from Izaak Walton Killam Health Centre and Health Centre that is in Halifax. Candidates will also be required to commit living and working in the province of Nova Scotia for a minimum period of two years so that to be considered for the selection of this new stream in the province. Candidates that have met these provided requirements will have a higher chance of selection through the program.
