Before AIP hires any immigrant, they first check the academic credentials that they possess. The workers need to have excellent communication skills to enable them to juggle through different job opportunities. It also allows them to clearly understand the goals and policies of the organizations that have hired them.

Communication barrier can cause a lot of misunderstanding across different parties. Hence there needs to be a common language with which the workers and their superiors can use for easier communication. The success of any organization is dependent on the clarity of the management goals and the ability of the employees to work along the set organizational principles.

The jobs offered to foreigners have high wages, and they can pocket $60,000-80,000 annually. This is enough for them and their families because most of the foreign workers are the sole breadwinners. The AIP has brought in close to 18 newcomers, and two families are currently residing in the new subdivision. AIP projects that by next year they’d have moved in more than 400 skilled immigrants.

This has given hope to Chipman residents that there is finally light at the end of their economic tunnel. There has been a sharp decline in the population of this village, and local officials believe the lucrative job offers will bring more foreigners in for robust economic growth. Everyone in Chipman is optimistic that this move will make a significant impact on the village and rekindle its development flame.
