More about the Skilled Migration Program in Australia
The program is created for migrants who can contribute significantly to the Australian economy. To do this, they must possess the skills and talents that the country is looking for. They should also be qualified to fill the available positions in the job market and fit in perfectly.
Skilled migrants help to stimulate economic growth because they have high participation rates in the country’s workforce. As a result, more jobs are created; helping to curb the unemployment issue in Australia.
The Migration Program’s Skilled Stream also facilitates regional development. This is by availing the skills and labor that might be difficult to source locally. It also promotes investment and local spending in the country’s regional areas.
To sum up, the recently introduced occupations ceilings for the Skilled Occupations List makes the Skilled Migration Program more efficient. With them, the program can distribute Expression of Interests (EOIs) or invites across many occupations.
