Manitoba has recently completed its second immigration draw of August and it has been a good news to skilled workers who planned to make the province their home. Using Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), tens of invitations were dispatched to individuals who possess in-demand skills both within and beyond Canada.
It was the 17th draw of the year in the province through immigration, which indicated that Manitoba is sustaining the pace in attracting the appropriate talent to its expanding labour pool.
What has happened in the last draw?
Manitoba held another immigration draw, the second under its Skilled Worker Stream, on August 21, and has two main streams: Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas. Applicants that met the province requirements were invited with 77 invitations, also known as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) which offers them an additional path to permanent residence. 18 of these invitations were offered to candidates who were registered on the federal Express Entry program which offers applicants an additional path to permanent residence. The lowest-ranked invited applicant bar was set at 612, the lowest Expression of Interest (EOI) score of this draw.
