There is good news for Southeast Asian students who always wanted to study in Canada on a scholarship. This article is about the CAD $10 million scholarship offered by the Canadian government.

 The Canadian government has made an official announcement about the CAD $10 million over five years to assist postsecondary and mid-career students and professionals with studies at Canadian institutions.

ASEAN is a regional group of 10 countries which promote political, economic, and security cooperation among the 10 member countries. Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Laos, and Brunei are the 10 member countries.  A two-day conference was held in Manila in Philippines where many government officials and foreign ministers from all the 10 ASEAN organization were present. Chrystia Freeland, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, made the statement about the education funding at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in the Philippines.
